Home / School Agreement

In the belief that children achieve best when supported by school and family, the school will:

encourage pupils through a range of opportunities to achieve their full potential.
provide a balanced curriculum and meet the individual needs of our pupils.
set, mark and monitor homework regularly.
keep you informed about your child’s progress and about broader school matters.
support the building of good relationships and the development of a sense of responsibility.
value all members of the school community.

In the belief that children achieve best when supported by school and family, as parent/guardian, I will:

ensure that my child goes to school regularly, on time, in uniform and properly equipped.
support the school’s policies and guidelines for behaviour.
support my child in homework and monitor homework diaries weekly.
endeavour to attend Parents’ evening and discussions about my child in order to work with the school to ensure his/her progress.
keep the school informed of any concerns or problems that might affect my child’s work or behaviour.

Parents of new pupils receive a copy of the above Home School Agreement and are asked to sign it as a commitment to working in partnership with the school.
