In
the belief that children achieve best when supported by
school and family, the school will:
•
encourage
pupils through a range of opportunities to achieve
their full potential.
•
provide
a balanced curriculum and meet the individual needs
of our pupils.
•
set,
mark and monitor homework regularly.
•
keep
you informed about your child’s progress and about
broader school matters.
•
support
the building of good relationships and the development
of a sense of responsibility.
•
value
all members of the school community.
In the belief that children achieve best when supported
by school and family, as parent/guardian, I will:
•
ensure
that my child goes to school regularly, on time, in
uniform and properly equipped.
•
support
the school’s policies and guidelines for behaviour.
•
support
my child in homework and monitor homework diaries weekly.
•
endeavour
to attend Parents’ evening and discussions
about my child in order to work with the school
to ensure his/her progress.
•
keep
the school informed of any concerns or problems that
might affect my child’s work or behaviour.
Parents
of new pupils receive a copy of the above Home School
Agreement and are asked to sign it as a commitment to
working in partnership with the school.
